The Preacher that Changed the World

Today we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King and the movement for freedom that he was a part of.




Here are a few interesting places to look for King material. You can go to youtube and search for Dr. King. I would also encourage you to check out the Martin Luther King R, Research and Education Institute for study materials on Dr. King especially the masterpiece of practical theology “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” and his stand on the Vietnam war.

We often think of style when we think of Black Preachers. Dr. King and the movement changed America by Style and Substance. I thank God that a preacher changed America. I hope and pray that we as preachers will stand up and continue to change America for the better.
