PrintWe all have seen the pain and destruction. We are told that when all is said and done we will have many fatalities and much need. That is where we as Christian preachers must step in.

Our preaching must demonstrate our solidarity with those who are suffering. We can never allow ourselves to think fall into the trap of thinking that they deserve this in some way as at least one prominent Christian preacher alludes.

We must use the means that God has given to us to help, and we must preach in such a way that others will see the need and value in helping. Let us rise to the occasion and bless the nation that was the fountainhead of liberation against slavery in this hemisphere.

They need our prayers, hopes, presence, and even treasure. To help, I encourage you to check out this these resources:

Looking Forward to the Day when God will “wipe away every tear.”
